There are so many challenges that are currently being placed on families today, that it is a wonder that so many families are able to survive intact. My cousin and I have been close all of our lives, and people often mistake us for sisters. We have always lived within 20 minutes of each other, which helped us to build our bond even stronger through the years. She was my maid of honor at my wedding, and I was her matron of honor. We cried over my three children, and we cried over her inability to have kids. That all changed a few months ago when she told me she was finally pregnant. I did an online search for baby shower invitation wording a couple of days after she told me the good news, because I wanted to throw her the nicest shower possible. Since that starts with the perfect invitation, I knew that is where I needed to begin.
I found a website that had dozens of different styles of cards, and I was worried that I would not be able to find the one that was perfect for her. I didn’t have to worry though, because I found the perfect one pretty fast.

I guess I should have figured it out for myself. I was over to my sister’s house to help my brother in law with some painting. I never realized that they had cleaned all of the junk out of their spare bedroom and that Sam was painting the room blue. It was in fact baby blue. Then I saw Michelle’s laptop open to some double stroller reviews. I did not connect the dots until we were almost done with lunch and ready to finish the painting. In all honesty I just thought she looked pregnant due to the extra weight she put on but, because she loses it and puts it back on regularly. They had not told my Mom yet and when she learned she was completely aglow.
